Have you been to the library lately?

I'm talking about Prince George's County Memorial Library System's website. They've just updated their online resources, and it's impressive. Did you know that you can download movies, ebooks, audiobooks and periodicals? You can also renew checkouts, make requests, search for books, learn about the many programs that the library system offers. A lot of this was previously available, but the interface is so much nicer now. They obviously listened to users and worked to make the site really useful...in fact, I keep finding more things to explore. There's also a great kids section -- it includes a reading program and online homework help.

While we're on the subject of libraries, which is your favorite branch? I'm partial to New Carrollton and Hyattsville, myself, though I really like the kids section at Bowie, too...
