A story on examiner.com reminded us about a great local resource that we don't use often enough: Cheverly Publick Playhouse. Honestly, I've only been there for preschool field trips, but the marquee always features something interesting.Coming up: Saturday morning movies at Publick Playhouse...June 13 is the last Saturday movie showing until the Fall, and features opening act Mandy the Clown. The movie is "The Rise of the Silver Surfer". 10:00am, $5. What a great deal. The Russian American Kids Circus also comes to the Publick Playhouse in July and the dance party opening benefit for "Shoe-Bert Alley" in August. We'll definitely go!
